What this site stores, why, and how to stop it
Two separate things happen on this website: inquiries you deliberately send, and optional usage measurement you can refuse. They are described separately because they are governed differently and neither depends on the other.

1. Inquiries you send (operational — not consent-based)
When you submit the inquiry form or email directly, that information is processed to reply to you and to run any work that follows. This is not optional analytics; it is the substance of the request you made.
What is stored
- The name, email address, and any phone number, business name or website you provide.
- What you wrote in the message, the service you selected and any budget band you chose.
- The page you submitted from and, if you allowed usage measurement, the random session identifier and coarse entry source recorded for that session. That identifier is what makes your optional page-view events joinable to this inquiry, which is why they are treated as your data too. No advertising identifiers are used.
- The date and time, an inquiry reference, and the record's lifecycle stage — new, qualified, proposal sent, won or lost.
- What happened to the owner notification about your inquiry — accepted by a provider, queued with the form service, or failed — so a failure can be found and fixed rather than losing your inquiry.
Where it is stored, and for how long
- In a private key-value store operated by this site's hosting provider, readable only with an administrative key. It is not published and not searchable.
- The inquiry is also sent to the site owner as a notification — by email or messaging app, depending on what is configured — and a copy may be captured by the hosting provider's form service. Whether a notification was accepted for delivery is recorded on the inquiry; acceptance is not proof it reached an inbox.
- Inquiries that do not become work are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to work performed are kept while needed for the engagement and for the period required for business and tax records.
What it is never used for
- Selling, renting or sharing with advertisers or data brokers.
- Adding you to a marketing list. You receive one automated receipt and then replies written by a person.
- Automated decisions about you. An optional AI summarization step exists in the underlying system, is switched off, and would never set an inquiry's stage on its own.
To have an inquiry corrected or deleted, email zackwildebusiness@gmail.com with the reference. Deletion covers the inquiry record and any optional usage events that share its session identifier. It is actioned within 30 days unless a record must be retained for tax or legal reasons, in which case you will be told which and why.
2. Usage measurement (optional — off until you allow it)
This site can record which pages are viewed and whether an inquiry was started and accepted. It is first-party, contains no name, email address or IP address, and does not run at all unless you choose to allow it. It is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: the session identifier it uses is also stored on an inquiry you send.
Before you choose
No measurement request is sent. No cookie is set for measurement. The banner asking for your choice is the only thing that happens.
If you allow it
The site sends events to its own server — no third-party analytics service is involved. Each event contains only:
- An event name from a fixed list: page view, inquiry started, inquiry accepted.
- The page path on this site (no query strings, no fragments).
- A coarse entry source for the session — for example "search", "direct" or a referring site's host name.
- A random session identifier held in this browser's tab storage and discarded when you close it. It is not derived from anything about you and is not shared with any other site — but if you send the inquiry form while measurement is allowed, the same identifier is stored on that inquiry, so those events can be linked to you through it. That is why this is described as pseudonymous and not anonymous.
- A truncated timestamp.
No IP address is stored with the event, no name or email address is ever included, no cross-site identifier is created, and no profile is built for advertising. Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage so you are not asked repeatedly — that is the only stored value.
If you decline
Nothing is sent, then or later. The site works identically. Declining is remembered so the banner does not reappear.
Withdrawing consent
Use the "Change your privacy choice" control in the footer of any page, or clear this site's data in your browser. Withdrawal stops collection immediately for the rest of that page view — no further events are sent. Events already recorded stay in the site's own storage; they contain no name, email address or IP address, and are only traceable to you if you also sent an inquiry from that session. If you did, email the address below with your reference and those events are deleted with the inquiry.
One thing worth being precise about
The "inquiry accepted" event is recorded by the server when it accepts and stores an inquiry, so that the count reflects real inquiries rather than button clicks. It stores the fact that an inquiry was accepted, the page it came from, the time, and the session identifier already held on the inquiry — no name, email address or message. It does not depend on your measurement choice, because it is not tracking you across the web: it is counting the site's own accepted submissions. It is deleted along with the inquiry when you ask for that.
Other processing
- Server logs. The hosting provider records request logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are the provider's operational logs, retained under their own retention policy, and are not used for analytics here.
- Rate limiting. To block automated submissions, a short-lived in-memory count of recent requests per address is used at the moment of submission. It is not written to storage.
- Fonts and assets. Every font, style, script and image on this site is served from this domain. No external font, tag manager, or content delivery script is loaded, so loading a page contacts no third party.
- Embedded content. None. No video embeds, maps, chat widgets or social buttons.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port the information held about you, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority — including under Canadian privacy law, the UK and EU GDPR, and comparable US state laws. Requests are answered within 30 days at no charge.
Inquiry information is processed because it is necessary to respond to a request you made and to perform any resulting contract. Optional usage measurement is processed only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
